Coming live and fresh from Florida, our clamsare free of chemicals, antibiotics, and external feeds. As clamshave difficulty growing in waters that bacteriological or industrial pollution, these clams are grown in very clean water that gets cleaner as the clam population grows. (Clams are filter feeders and continually remove algae and nutrients from the water.) These clams have a briny, salty, and a little sweet flavor with the firm and chewy texture. Additionally, clamsare a very nutritious whole food with a host of health benefits. They are a lean source of protein; are rich in minerals, vitamins, and Omega- 3 fatty acids and have been found to possess cancer-preventing properties.
