Acanthurus chirurgus, generally known as doctorfish or doctorfish tang in English and barbero rayado or cirujano rayado in Spanish, is a tropical marine fish widespread within the Atlantic Ocean.
Doctor fish Tang is a species of tang that has sharp, scalpel-like, dorsal fins. They are normally a blue/gray to darkish gray coloration with pale brown vertical brown stripes.
