The Atlantic Cod is a benthopelagic fish of the family Gadidae, is a medium to large saltwater fish, normally found throughout the North Atlantic. The Atlantic Cod has a slightly sweet taste, with large flakes that fall apart easily when cooked. The Cod has less moisture content, a firmer texture, and generally a larger market size.
